Welcome to Caravan Desert et Montagne – a small but perfectly formed tour operator. We believe in creating individual programmes for our clients.

Want to trek through the desert? Ride a camel? Learn about the desert’s history and people? Have a special celebration with family and friends, or perhaps a honeymoon?

Whatever you are looking for, the exchange of ideas and opinions is necessary so please, let Brahim know your wishes in advance so the schedule can be tailored to your expectations.

Our guiding principal is to work with local people-from desert nomads to Berber village
families whom we see as friends and extended family. We support projects in the
communities that we visit and encourage respect of these cultures. Our tours also tread lightly in the natural areas we visit, to help preserve the beauty of Morocco’s natural habitat.

We invite you to share our knowledge of the region’s history and peoples, and to
experience the culture and beauty of Southern Morocco.

On our trips we aim to show you:
° The history and culture of the traditional Berber tribes
° The architecture of the Kasbahs–the Berber villages of both the Anti and the high
Atlas regions
° The stunning scenery of the Sahara Desert .
° The wild and mesmerizing landscape of the Anti-Atlas region.
° The warmth and hospitality of the people that characterizes the region

All our trips are designed around your interests, your available time and the size of your group.

In general we offer:
+Trekking tours of the Sahara, where we trek with camels carrying all our suppiles. Food is provided and prepared for you.

• Trekking in the anti-Atlas where you we use donkeys to carry our supplies and equipment.
  A combination of 4X4 or car exploring the whole area with some time spent in the Sahara to explore
• Family Trips– We have led many trips for families over the years and understand the
  needs of a family tour. (We recommend children be at least 4 years old.)
  We can arrange a special and unique celebration or honeymoon in the desert or in
  the Anti–Atlas mountains.
  Aside from the Easter season where we guide groups, all our trips are now tailor made to suit you.
  Costs depend on numbers:
  Groups: a good size group would be 4 or 5 adults to keep costs reasonable,
  Couples:
  Individuals:
  Large groups are also welcome.

We are a small, family owned, and multi-faceted tour company founded and run by Brahim Elaabdouli.

Brahim Elaabdouli brings a considerable amount of understanding and expertise about this area to his tours. He was born and raised in the Berber community of Southern Morocco. He has been leading private tour groups as well as serving as a guide and local expert for organizations, including BBC, National Geographic and more. He writes about the people of the area and is currently completing a PhD in Anthropology.
